In today’s multigenerational workforce, it has become increasingly important to understand the different workplace approaches for each generation. Acknowledging the historical context of each generation, and understanding generational perceptions, will provide a platform for stronger communication and more effective teamwork at your organization. The new blend of generations, race, gender and ethnicity has created a workforce that is more diverse than ever before. For the first time, we have four generations working side by side. This generational diversity creates challenges as well as a great potential for opportunity and growth. By learning to value the strengths and viewpoints of each of the four generations, organizations can create leading cross-generational teams. This half-day course provides participants with the opportunity to explore the distinguishing characteristics of each generation and the factors influencing their differing points of view.
